FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much do you charge?
Call or email for pricing. Tell us a little about the event and we’ll give you a quick answer.
Do you have insurance?
Yes - we have commercial liability and auto insurance as well as workers’ compensation insurance. We can furnish a certificate of insurance for you and/or your venue.
Can you meet with us? Can you check out our venue?
Yes - we’d be happy to meet with you or your planning committee. And we can do a walk through at your venue.
Can you play appropriate music for our school or church event?
Yes! The foundation of a great event is the perfect mix of music, appropriate for the age of the guests and type of event.
Can you provide the sound and lighting and all the technology and we’ll use our own DJ?
Sure - we have plug and play production packages designed with everything but the DJ, so if you already have a favorite DJ, we can make him look and sound great. We’ve worked with several radio station DJs and student DJs.
Our school has our own sound and lighting system, but we need a DJ. Do you do that?
While I highly recommend that you hire professionals to do the sound and lighting to ensure it goes off without a hitch, if all you need is a DJ, we can accommodate.
Are you a real DJ?
That question used to mean “Do you mix?” or “Can you scratch?” Today that question means a lot of different things to different people. We are nightclub style DJs who play modern music in a high energy, contemporary style. Do we create music like an EDM artist? Other than occasionally editing or remixing a song or video for ease of use or to sanitize the content, no. We specialize in rocking the turntables and rocking the mic.
What kind of DJ equipment do you use? Do you spin vinyl? What DJ software do you use?
Nothing but the best pro DJ gear - Pioneer decks, mixers and controllers. QSC, RCF, JBL and Cerwin Vega speakers. Shure microphones. Vinyl…not any more. Still mess around on 1200s occasionally to stay sharp, but rarely at events. Serato performance DJ software.
